Celebrating National Engineers Week
A Week of Recognition
In the spirit of National Engineers Week, an annual celebration of the people and pursuit of engineering from February 20 to 24, Fathom pays tribute to its engineering staff. From software development to 3D modeling to design for manufacturing to process innovation, Fathom’s engineering experts make their mark in all aspects of our advanced manufacturing experience—and in our community, too.
For A Cause Greater Than Ourselves
Every day, it is our team of engineers greatest honor to help companies put satellites into orbit, electric cars on freeways and smart devices in peoples hands and homes—it is also deeply rewarding to share our expertise of advanced manufacturing for a cause greater than ourselves.

The Engineers Pledge
As a Professional Engineer, I dedicate my professional knowledge and skill to the advancement and betterment of human welfare. I pledge to give the utmost of performance; to participate in none but honest enterprise; to live and work according to the laws of man and the highest standards of professional conduct; to place service before profit, the honor and standing of the profession before personal advantage and the public welfare above all other considerations. In humility and with need for Divine Guidance, I make this pledge. (source)
In the Words of a Fathomer //
To take up the mantle of the Engineer is a serious responsibility. Engineers shape our world, our future. I became an engineer because I wanted to address the needs of society and as I continue to gather experience in the field, I become a more and more powerful force for change in the world. —Fathom Mechanical Engineer Alexei Samimi
