Life at Fathom

This policy enables Fathom employees to take up to 16 hours per year to help a local non-profit organization. Our people have shared their time and talent with food pantries, senior living facilities, veteran’s organizations, fund-raising events and more. It’s our way of giving back to the communities where Fathom does business and our employees live.

We get deeply involved in some fun and challenging projects. The parts we produce get incorporated into some of the world’s coolest products, from humanoid robots and next-generation electric vehicles to precision surgical instruments and cutting-edge drones. We love feeling like we’re part of a resurgence in manufacturing and innovation.

At Fathom, teamwork goes beyond job titles and locations. Our teams consistently step up to support one another and our customers. One recent example: machinists from our suburban Minneapolis location traveled to Hartland to help bring CNC and wire EDM machines online at our Hartland, WI facility.

Our human-first approach carries through to how we connect as a team. We balance the work with moments that bring people together, like hot cocoa stations during the holidays, competitive gingerbread house builds, and fireside chats with our CEO. We celebrate birthdays, service milestones, and summer holidays with cookouts, giving us plenty of chances to connect and have fun along the way.
