Why Fathom is at Design-2-Part New England

Design-2-Part New England brings engineers, buyers, and manufacturing teams together to compare suppliers, examine real parts, and work through active sourcing challenges in person. Fathom will be there to connect manufacturers across the Northeast with two specialized regional teams, Incodema by Fathom in Ithaca, New York, and Newcut by Fathom in Newark, New York.

Incodema specializes in rapid prototyping and production of small, complex formed sheet metal parts, bringing cutting, forming, custom tooling, welding, post machining, and finishing together under one roof. Newcut specializes in photochemical machining for complex flat metal parts, using a process that requires no hard tooling, accommodates design changes quickly, and produces clean, burr free features.

Together, the teams provide a more complete path from flat precision components to finished formed parts.

Incodema by Fathom specializes in small, intricate precision sheet metal components that require speed, creative tooling, and careful process planning. Its vertically integrated operation supports customers from early design input and prototyping through forming, production, and post processing.
