Wire EDM Technology // Wire EDM cutting can create intricate features in hardened steel. It does this with a precision that’s not possible using CNC machining.

CNC Hard Milling // CNC machining is used to achieve complex, high-precision geometries while providing smooth surface finishes.

Multi-Axis Machining // This type of machining produces complex features that are impossible with single-axis machining.

Advanced Cooling Systems // Some parts need enhanced cooling in order to achieve acceptable cycle times and minimize part warpage. In these cases, Fathom’s Hartland, WI facility can 3D print metal cores with conformal cooling channels. These cooling channels are located just below the surface of the core and place cooling water as close as possible to the part for maximum cooling.
