High elongation, superior toughness, durability and abrasion resistance—Fathom’s 3D printing and additive manufacturing service customers have a new flexible material option to consider.
The production team is excited to offer TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) for Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM). TPU 92A is a resilient material combining flexibility and stretch with abrasion and tear resistance. Benefits to taking an additive manufacturing approach with TPU include quicker turnaround and freedom of complexity versus traditional methods.
